I've never understood why so many people are afraid of spiders. They are beneficial to the planet, and can be rather pretty. They are also superb artists. Anyone looking at a spider web can only be amazed at the intricacy and geometry.
For some reason this past year has brought out spiders like never before and their webs are huge and in very odd places. I managed to get a couple of photos and just had to share:
